As we continued our drive around the lake on our way to the Masai Mara, we found another pair of Giraffes playing near the side of the road. When I say playing, the Giraffes were moving their heads around each other and the movement with those long necks was fascinating to watch. Bernard, our lead guide, mentioned that this was a playful display that goes on throughout the day when two male Giraffes come together. Its not a competition but a demonstration of friendship. We stayed for quite a while capturing many images of these beautiful creatures.
